Nursing Option for Cape Dress

The cape dress pattern offers the option to have a nursing opening in the bodice under its cape. Simplifying the usage for nursing, there are no extra closures, just the pieces overlapping and covered by the cape. Closures can be added according to personal taste.
Select the nursing option in the cape dress pattern to include it in the pattern.

Instead of a single piece for the front bodice, the pattern will consist of three separate pieces.

Cut the pattern pieces as per the instructions printed on each piece.

Fold the nursing opening hems twice by 2 cm each and sew them. Then sew all the darts.

The center panel has to be sewn to the chest piece first, then the side pieces. The hems of the nursing opening are supposed to overlap by 2 cm.

Once the four pieces are sewn together, continue with the bodice as a single piece.
